“Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will FEARLESSLY make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains.  Pray that I may declare it FEARLESSLY, as I should.”   

 Ephesians 6.19-20 (NIV)

FEARLESS GEAR is based on these two verses in Ephesians that end the discussion of the armor of God and the visual that we are to have about spiritual equipment needed for our daily battles.  The Armor of God talks about us preparing for daily spiritual battle (Ephesians 6.12) and becoming FEARLESS warriors in the army.  God wants us to be involved in his army of FEARLESS warriors and we are called to wear the FULL armor of God everyday!  The armor, including the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the feet readied with the gospel of the peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation,  the sword of the spirit, and prayer, are all needed before we can go out to the battlegrounds.  At the very end of the armor of God discussion, Paul gives us a visual of himself in prison and an ambassador in chains.  He tells us that we are to FEARLESSLY declare the Gospel and FEARLESSLY speak of the mystery of the gospel.  People need to hear the gospel and the good news and truth contained within the covers of the Bible and we are summoned to FEARLESSLY go declare the Word for the kingdom’s sake. 

FEARLESS GEAR is alternative clothing and accessories that will attract people to question themselves as to what our “FEARLESS” designs mean and what Ephesians 6.19-20 really says. Because of that, they will be challenged to read the truth for themselves and see that we as believers of the truth and followers of Christ are called to be FULLY ARMORED FEARLESS WARRIORS for HIM!
